  • Thickness: 0.040" to 0.080" (fiberboard) / 0.025" (plastic)

Installation Guide

Place the slip sheet on a flat surface with the pull tab facing the operator. Stack product directly onto the slip sheet. Use a push-pull forklift attachment to grip the pull tab and slide the loaded slip sheet onto the forks. Transport and stack as normal. Requires push-pull attachment on forklift — standard forks cannot handle slip sheets.

Common Use Cases

Export shipping (eliminates ISPM-15 requirement), maximizing container cube, high-volume distribution, reducing freight weight

Material Specification: Fiberboard: multi-ply solid kraft, water-resistant options with wax or PE coating. Plastic: virgin HDPE, 0.025" caliper, grease-resistant. Both types 100% recyclable.

How Accessories Reduce Costs

Extend Pallet Life

Corner protectors and proper strapping prevent the damage that forces early pallet retirement. A $0.50 protector can save a $12 pallet.

Reduce Product Damage

Dividers and tier sheets prevent crushing. Stacking frames protect fragile goods. Every percent reduction in damage rate saves thousands annually.

Eliminate Cardboard Waste

Reusable pallet collars replace single-use corrugated boxes. Over 50 trips, one collar set replaces 50 boxes — a dramatic cost and waste reduction.

In-House Repair

A basic repair kit lets dock workers fix minor pallet damage on-site instead of scrapping the pallet or waiting for replacement deliveries.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which collar height I need?

Measure the tallest item you plan to store or ship and add 1-2 inches of clearance. Standard collars are 8 inches tall and can be stacked up to 6 high for a maximum of 48 inches of containment. If your products are shorter than 8 inches, we offer 6-inch low-profile collars. For products taller than 48 inches, consider stacking frames instead.

What strapping material should I use?

Polypropylene (PP) strapping works for most general-purpose applications under 600 lbs of tension. For heavy or sharp-edged loads, polyester (PET) strapping offers higher tensile strength, better edge retention, and lower elongation so loads stay tighter during transit. For the heaviest loads, composite strapping combines polyester fibers with a polymer coating for maximum strength.

Can pallet collars be heat-treated for export?

Yes. Wooden pallet collars can be heat-treated to ISPM-15 standards for international shipping. We offer heat treatment for all our wooden collar sizes with the same 24-48 hour turnaround as pallet heat treatment. Each collar receives the ISPM-15 HT stamp.

Do you sell in small quantities?

Absolutely. We have no minimum order requirements for most accessories. Whether you need 10 collars or 10,000 strapping seals, we will fill the order. That said, volume discounts start at 100 units, so buying in larger quantities saves you money per unit.

What gauge stretch wrap should I use?

For most palletized loads under 2,000 lbs, 80-gauge film provides adequate containment. For heavier loads or sharp-edged products, step up to 100-gauge. Pre-stretched film at 37 or 47 gauge provides equivalent holding force with less material and easier application. Machine wrap is more economical for operations wrapping 20+ pallets per day.

How do stacking frames attach to the pallet?

We offer three attachment methods. Pin-lock systems use steel pins that drop into holes drilled in the pallet deck — quick to install and remove but requires pallet modification. Bolt-on systems use carriage bolts through the pallet stringers — the most secure option for permanent installations. Weld-on cups are permanently attached to the pallet for dedicated applications.

Are your accessories compatible with plastic pallets?

Most accessories work with both wood and plastic pallets. Pallet collars require a flat-deck pallet for stable seating. Stacking frames work with rackable plastic pallets that have adequate deck thickness for pin or bolt attachment. Covers, strapping, stretch wrap, dividers, and corner protectors are universally compatible.

Can I get custom-sized accessories?

Yes. We can produce pallet collars, covers, dividers, and tier sheets in any custom dimension. Custom collars require a minimum order of 25 units. Custom covers and dividers have no minimum. Lead time for custom accessories is typically 5-10 business days depending on the product and quantity.
